How do you count “winning it all”?

We count the top championship named for the selected competition—not conference, division, playoff appearance, or consolation titles. Season labels stay separate from the date the trophy was actually clinched.

  • NFL defaults to Super Bowls; pre-Super Bowl league titles are identified separately when included.
  • Relocations follow the franchise unless a league’s official record book separates the history.
  • FBS selectors, split titles, claims, vacancies, and co-champions are labeled rather than flattened.

Complete 138-program current directory plus 7 historical championship programs, verified 2026-08-28; every recognized title in this competition is attached to its program. The NCAA does not conduct an FBS championship. CFP/BCS winners and NCAA-listed major-selector champions are represented; pre-CFP splits remain split.
